Privacy Policy Statement

1. INTERPRETATION

1.1. In these Terms, unless the context otherwise requires –

1.2. “Platform” refers to the mobile applications operated by oneCare Plus;

1.3. “Privacy Policy Statement” or “PPS” means this privacy policy statement;

1.4. “Site” refers to the websites and mobile applications operated by oneCare Plus;

1.5. “Us”, “we”, or “our” refers to oneCare Plus; and

1.6. “You”, “your” or “yourself” refers to you as the user of the Site.

The purpose of this PPS is to describe how we collect, use and share information about you through our online interfaces (e.g., websites and mobile applications) owned and controlled by us, including http://onecareplus.com (collectively referred to herein as the “Site”). 3. INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT

3.1. We collect information you provide to us, for example when you create or modify your account via our Platform, purchase services from us, request information from us, contact customer support, or otherwise communicate with us. This information may include:

e. telephone number;

f. date of birth;

g. gender;

h. credit card number (solely for payment purposes and not stored by us);

i. photographs, files and videos shared by you with us;

j. chat messages and other communications between you and us;

k. healthcare history, condition and other health related information; and

l. healthcare qualification, experiences and skills.

 

4. HOW WE USE AND SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

4.1. We collect information from you in order to:

4.1.1. register, activate, verify and service your online account; 

4.1.2. provide services that you purchase using the Site; 

4.1.3. register and service your online account; 

4.1.4. provide information that you request from us; 

4.1.5. contact you about your orders; 

4.1.6. process credit card transactions; 

4.1.7. send you promotional materials or advertisements about our products and services, as well as new features and offerings; administer surveys, sweepstakes, promotions and contests;

4.1.8. enforce our terms and conditions, including investigating potential breaches;

4.1.9. meet the requirements of any applicable law;

4.1.10. detect, investigate and prevent fraud, security or technical issues; and

4.1.11. protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of ourselves, our users, customers or the public.

4.2. We may share personal information with third parties if reasonably necessary for any of the purposes set out in section 4.1 above. These third parties may include:

4.2.1. our related companies; 

4.2.2. third party service providers who provide services to support our business, including administrative, technical, data processing, payment and professional services; 

4.2.3. government authorities, regulatory bodies and/or other law enforcement agencies; 

4.2.4. courts, tribunals and/or parties to the legal proceedings; and 

4.2.5. debt collection agencies

4.3. If the ownership of all or substantially all of our business changes or we otherwise transfer assets relating to our business or the Site to a third party, such as by merger, acquisition, bankruptcy proceeding or otherwise, we may transfer or sell your personal information to the new owner. In such a case, unless permitted otherwise by applicable law, your information would remain subject to the terms of this PPS unless you agree otherwise.

 

5. ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION AND CHOICES

5.1. You can access and update certain information we have relating to your account through the profile settings on the Platform. If you have questions about personal information we have about you or need to update your information, you can Contact Us. You can opt-out of receiving marketing and promotional communications from us when you register for the Platform or by using the opt-out or unsubscribe feature contained in the communications.

5.2. You can close your online account by Contacting Us. If you close your account, we will no longer use your online account information or share it with third parties.  We may, however, retain a copy of the information for archival purposes, and to avoid identity theft or fraud.

 

6. SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION

6.1. We use industry standard physical, technical and administrative security measures and safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal information. However, since the Internet is not a 100% secure environment, we cannot guarantee, ensure, or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us. 

6.2. There is no guarantee that information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.  It is your responsibility to protect the security of your login information.

 

7. CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY STATEMENT 

Our PPS may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this PPS without your consent in accordance with applicable law. We will notify you and post any changes to our PPS on this page.
